Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 19 September 2026
We want you to be confident when paying Velosoft. This policy explains what you can cancel, what is refundable, how to ask for a refund and how long it takes. It applies to all payments made to Velo Software (trading as Velosoft) through Cashfree Payments or bank transfer.
1. Summary
| Purchase | Cancel | Refund |

2. Cancelling a professional-services project
- Before kick-off: if you cancel before we begin work (the kick-off call or first milestone start, whichever is earlier), we refund the full advance less non-recoverable payment-gateway charges.
- During the project: either party may end the engagement with 15 days’ written notice. We invoice for milestones completed and work in progress at the day rate in your quote, deliver all work completed to date, and refund any remaining advance.
- After delivery: accepted milestones and handed-over deliverables are non-refundable. Defects reported within 30 days of handover are fixed free of charge under our warranty.
- Client-side delay: if a project is paused for more than 60 days because content, approvals or access are pending from you, we may close it and invoice completed work; the balance of any advance is refunded.
3. Cancelling a Velo app subscription
- Cancel at any time from Velo → Settings → Subscription, by emailing [email protected] from your registered email, or by revoking the recurring mandate in your UPI or banking app. Cancellation takes effect immediately for future billing; you keep full access until the end of the period already paid.
- Monthly plans are not refunded for the unused part of the month.
- Yearly plans are refunded in full if you cancel within 7 days of the first purchase or of an auto-renewal charge and have not substantially used the app in that period (for example, fewer than 25 orders or invoices created). After 7 days, yearly plans are not refunded.
- Auto-renewal charges: we send a reminder email and, where applicable, the RBI-mandated pre-debit notification at least 24 hours before each charge. If you did not intend to renew, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will refund it and cancel the plan, provided the app was not substantially used after renewal.
- Downgrades take effect from the next billing date; the difference is not refunded for the current period.
- Your data remains exportable for 30 days after cancellation.
4. Duplicate, failed or incorrect payments
- If you were charged twice, or money was debited but the payment shows as failed, email us with the transaction reference (UTR / Cashfree order ID). Confirmed duplicates and failed-but-debited amounts are refunded in full; most such amounts are auto-reversed by the bank within 5–7 business days.
- Amounts paid by mistake to Velosoft (wrong payee or wrong amount) are refunded in full less gateway charges once verified.
5. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] (or WhatsApp +91 99626 60236) with your name, registered phone or email, invoice number or Cashfree order ID, and the reason.
- We acknowledge within 2 business days and confirm eligibility within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds are initiated through Cashfree (or bank transfer for NEFT/RTGS payments) within 3 business days of approval.
6. Refund method and timelines
- Refunds go back to the original payment method only. We cannot refund to a different card, UPI ID or account.
- Typical time for the amount to reflect after we initiate the refund: UPI and wallets: 1–3 business days; debit/credit cards and net banking: 5–7 business days; some card issuers may take up to one billing cycle. Bank transfers: 2–3 business days.
- Non-recoverable payment-gateway charges are deducted from pre-kick-off project refunds; they are not deducted from Velo subscription refunds or from refunds of our own errors.
- If GST becomes applicable later and was charged on a refunded amount, it is reversed through a credit note issued with the refund.
7. EMI and pay-later purchases (including ZestMoney)
If you paid via credit-card EMI or cardless EMI — including ZestMoney (Zest / DMI Finance), HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC FIRST Bank, CASHe or another Cashfree EMI partner — the approved refund is sent to the lender, who closes or adjusts your loan under their Key Fact Statement and loan terms. Any interest, processing or foreclosure fee already charged by the lender is governed by the lender’s policy, not by Velosoft. Contact the lender for your EMI account status after we confirm the refund reference to you. Monthly Velo subscriptions are not sold on EMI; refunds for those plans follow section 3 above.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank; most issues are resolved within 2 business days. Where a chargeback is raised for a service already delivered under this policy, we will submit delivery evidence (quotes, approvals, deliverables, login records) to the bank through Cashfree.
